- Manage open job requisitions
- Maintain awareness of competitor practices, industry trends and recruitment standards
- Consult with hiring managers to recommend strategies for identifying and recruiting potential candidates that are both a cultural and job fit
- Assist hiring managers with development of open position(s) Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and job descriptions for new positions
- Generate leads and source candidates by developing sourcing pools and talent pipelines that include posting job ads through job boards, social media, professional associations, and direct marketing.
- Collaborate with hiring manager(s) to establish interviewing criteria
- Use available tools to maintain appropriate documentation on all candidates, searches, and other sourcing activities
- Coach hiring managers on interview techniques and common practice as related to general employment laws
- Evaluate applications, review resumes, conduct initial phone interviews to establish a narrow candidate pool for hiring managers
- Make recommendations to hiring managers on the top candidates for in-person interviews
- Following approvals, communicate formal job offer letters to selected final candidates and communicate any negotiations or finalizations with hiring team
- Continuously measure results to maximize capability to attract and hire the best talent
- Attend career fairs as needed
- Conduct ongoing evaluation of innovative and emerging sourcing tools
- Other duties as assigned with close collaboration of the other members of the HR Team
Requirements include but are not limited to:
- Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in HR Management preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of human resources / recruiting with direct experience with job screening, hiring practices and talent acquisition required
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification desired
- Public accounting, financial or other professional service Industry experience preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of digital and social media recruiting strategies as it relates to talent awareness and engagement
- Ability to work and communicate well with others (Written and Verbal)
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms (i.e. Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and practices as it relates to recruiting
- Reconcile client general ledger and investigate reconciling items.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Perform account analysis and prepare financial reconciliations such as bank reconciliations, prepaids and accruals.
- Prepare taxable fringe benefit calculations for clients.
- Perform bookkeeping services for certain clients; enter invoices and bills, enter cash receipts and cash disbursements, and periodic reconciliation of trial balances.
- Update and deploy computer hardware and software for our employees internally
- Provide employees with training and troubleshooting of IT systems and software
- Assign new user accounts and email addresses in Active Directory
- Administer laptops, desktops, printers, switches, firewalls, phones, cameras, software deployments, security updates and patches
- Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
- Deploy and maintain workstations and virtual servers
- Check computer hardware to ensure functionality
- Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
- Ensure network connectivity throughout the company's LAN and VPN
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.
This internship is a paid position, and we will support any documentation required for academic credit. Your internship will encompass a variety of different experiences, and be a welcomed member of our firm. You will be included in select firm staff meetings and activities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Knowledge of accounting software packages and ability to adapt/learn to different accounting software technology
