We have an opening for a Advanced Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant - Tax to join our firm’s tax group, working from our office in Pittsburgh, PA where you will receive a comprehensive training, generous pay, a dedicated mentor, and gain valuable experience and insight into the public accounting world. • Preparation of corporate and individual tax returns
• Assist with research and assignments involving tax theory and concepts
• Assist with research and handle assignments involving basic tax issues in the areas of corporate, partnership, individual, payroll and sales tax
• Participate in meeting client deadlines
• Become familiar with specific clients and begin to identify specific client needs
• Keep supervisors informed of progress, and complete assignments in a timely manner
• Proactively interact with clients to gather information, resolve problems, make recommendations
• Mentor staff and interns  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Taking steps towards achieving career designations (CPA, EA, etc.)
• Experience requirements (Advanced Staff 1 to 3 years, Senior 3 to 5 years)
• Personable, ambitious, and looking for a career path opportunity
• Able to foster strong relations built on trust and credibility
• Focused on meeting client requirements and deadlines
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Detail focused and driven to achieve high standards
• Experience utilizing tax software and overall computer skills   
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Must be able to work overtime to meet client needs beyond regularly scheduled workday (evenings and weekends)
